How To Install And Use Elementor For Beginners (2022 Tutorial)
Hi guys in this Tutorials I’m going to show you how to install Elementor onto your website. I’m also going to show you how to add widgets to your page and how to edit them.
Okay guys the first thing you need to do is click on plugins. Once the page is loaded click add new at the top of the page. In the search bar on the right hand side type in Elementor and push return. Once the page is loaded click install now on Elementor website builder give it a second to install and once it has click activate. Your active plugins list will now update and as you’ll notice on the left hand side. Elementor is installed on your dashboard. To start using Elementor go to one of your posts or pages click add new. Type the name of your page into add title.
For the purpose of the Tutorials I’m not actually going to add a page name. Here I’m just going to click edit with Elementor on the top row. Here and let Elementor generate a page name for me. As you will see on the left hand side here all the widgets have loaded for Elementor that you can start dragging and dropping into your page. All the widgets with padlocks on are available on Elementor Pro. Anything without a padlock can be freely used on your website.
Make sure to hit the subscribe button as it will be more tutorials on how to use Elementor and Elementor Pro very soon. In the meantime all you need to do is start dragging in widgets that you can use to help create your website. As you scroll down the widgets there is also the option to add woo commerce. This is for anyone who is looking to sell products on their website.
At the very bottom of the page you’ll also notice a number of WordPress widgets that you can use in conjunction with Elementor. As you will see there are many options for you to choose from and you can start using these straight away. What I’ll do now is scroll back up to the top of the page and add one of the widgets. I’ll choose one at random and show you how to customize the widget.
As I said earlier all you need to do is drag the widgets onto your page. On the whole all widgets will have a contents tab a style tab and advanced tab. In the contents tab you’ll be able to change images titles and paragraphs. You’ll also be able to add links and your dynamic content. Moving on to the style tab and this is where you’ll normally change the colour of your text and your buttons.
You’ll also be able to change the size of your font. In here finally moving on to the advanced tab and this is where you’ll change your margins, padding and you’ll be able to set things like motion effects and your borders. Other things you can add here is custom CSS coding attributes and you can change the responsiveness of your page. Remember that each widget is slightly different so not all features will be available.
